Some frequently asked questions about my House Call Sessions.
Q. Can my whole family be at the session?
A. Yes, please invite everyone who wants to be there, willingly. People forced to participate in a House Call session are rarely helpful.
Q. My dog is aggressive toward other dogs. Will you bring practice dogs along?
A. No. Please enroll your dog in my Rescue Dog/rehabilitation class for dogs who do not like other dogs. The class is set up for you and dogs who do not have' tea party' manners.
Q. Are the any kinds of dogs that you do not train?
A. Yes. If your dog sounds severely
dangerous to other dogs or humans I will email you and gracefully decline the House Call
appointment. Telephone Training is more appropriate for these dogs.
Q. Will you use a choke chain or a pinch collar?
A. Maybe, but never on a dog. I’ve found better, faster and less harsh ways to
communicate and connect with dogs.
Q. What breeds are you familiar with? I have a very unusual dog, a Hungarian Viszla. Do you know these rare breeds?
A. Most rare breed are not that rare, to me. I’ve trained Entlebuchers, Swedish Lapphunds, Argentinian Dogos, Coto de Tulars, Havanese and the ever popular, Chiweenie. I’ve had Afghans and Salukis as well as Shiba Inus and once, a Tosa Inu roll through both obedience training classes and House Calls. Unless you’ve got a Norweigian Buhund I’ve probably met your breed of dog more than ten times. Oh, is your Viszla named Goulash, by the way?
Q. Okay, I’m sick of the hassle of a pet with problems. How do I get you to drive your dog mobile to my house?
A. It’s easy. Email me at suemyles@gmail.com. Tell me about your pet and his problems and if you've had a bad day a few of your own. I'll write back and we'll arrange a time. I will also give you the fee for the training when I find out what kind of situation you've got.
See you soon
