My poodle mix was a mess. She bit me and my husband and nothing I tried helped. My vet recommended Sue and said she could work miracles. When I emailed Sue and got an email back in one hour I was impressed. I was hesitant as I thought my dog would not learn anything in just one session. Anyway, Sue came to the house, stayed about two hours and my dog, Milly, was better, immediately. Milly quit the biting and now I can hold her when I watch TV at night.

My Golden Retreiver went to three pet store classes where they made you run the dog up and down the food aisle. All he ever learned to do was grab treats off the shelf that I had to pay for. At Sue's class Max learned the don't touch command that I use every time I walk him.

Thank you so much for the help with my Aussie, Sadie, the Awesome, Energetic and Indomitable one.
I did not realize when I picked her out at one week old that I was about to embark on quite a run. I picked her up at 3 months and when we started class with you both of us were pretty stressed. By that time, she knocked me down 2 times, sled dogged me around town, etc. She was airborne when people or dogs were around. There was a harness graveyard in the house because she chewed them in two when walking. You got us through it. I took her out of Doggie Day Care those 2 days a week as you asked. I remember thinking,"I am going to do what she says." Now that she is almost a year old, I would say she is pretty much a model citizen in and out of the house. My neighbor who is a vet and walks 2 Belgian Terveurens even commented on what a well mannered girl she is. We still have an issue with the meet and greet with other people and dogs. (She wants to jump.) You have been so helpful by email. What do you think? Thank you so much for your continued support.

Sue and I go back a long way. I've known her pretty much my whole life; almost two years now. They say she's much older. To tell the truth, I'd never believe it by looking at her, except that she's so wonderful and wise!
Once, I was an impetuous ill-behaved puppy. But under Sue's positive, encouraging tutorage, I have become a happy self-confident dog, who has learned how to delight pretty much everybody. I say pretty much everybody because some people and dogs just have issues. Not Sue's dogs though! I can't comment on their owners. After all, there's only so much a trainer can do.
Thanks to Sue, I'm so well behaved, my people take me with them to dine on the patio at dog friendly restaurants all the time. Because of my exemplary behavior, all the serving staff and management at several restaurants love me, and know me by name! I'm a well behaved rock star! Still, I feel sorry for some of the dogs I see under the other tables with choke chains or (shiver) spike collars. Because of Sue's awesome training techniques, I'm better behaved and I've never had to experience any of that!
She even taught me to type! After all you only need thumbs for the space bar! I think she's discontinued the puppy typing classes, so your training results may vary. They were by invitation only anyway. She also taught me that it's not nice to taunt other dogs, breeds or species. After all, it's not their fault they weren't born Catahoula Leopard Dogs, like me. "All hail Sue Myles, the world's greatest dog trainer!"

Well, it’s been a couple of months now and I have to say our Divot seems to have turned a mature corner! He has the swing of the daily routine down just great, and I couldn’t tell you the last time he went potty in the living/dining area. I’ve even left him untethered a couple of times in the afternoon while he and Winston are napping – I just close all the doors, hope for the best, and make a quick trip to the market or something. He has passed every time. I still find myself suddenly panicking and wondering where he is, so I fly around the corner or down the stair and more times than not he is simply lying on the floor looking at me like I’m the nut!! There is still an occasional death of a roll of toilet paper, and he did kill 2 remote controls, but that was really it for August J Oh ya, he still chases the cat but when he sees me coming with the spray he stops dead in his tracks – he HATES the spray!! He’s taking treats gently, and making a lot of eye contact with me when I talk to him – he is trying to understand what I’m saying. In the morning he patiently waits outside my daughter’s until she gets up. Once she does he runs and grabs a toy and off they go … it’s too cute.
We just can’t thank you enough for helping us with him. He really is such a sweet, sweet boy.
Sincerely, Rob & Nora
