Behavior Consultations and Private Training
I am a fully qualified and experienced dog behaviorist. I hold a Ph.D in dog behavior. In 1980, I was the first trainer to introduce behavior consultations in Orange County. I am the only person in the county with a Ph.D. who also trains dogs.
My behavior consultations do not follow a 'script.' I apply the principles of operant and classical conditioning, effectively tailoring them to you, your dog, and the environment.
Real behaviorists do not use shock, pinch, or choke chains, and we do not base our approach to changing a dog's behavior on punishment. Other trainers in Orange County, who often falsely present themselves as behaviorists, do.
My advanced formal training, combined with forty-nine years of experience as a trainer, provides me with a deep and extensive knowledge base. I know what does and does not 'work.' My time-tested expertise sets you and your pet up for the best possible outcome
